If you want to make a journey through time and see how minstrels, noble damsels and knights lived in the middle ages, than you have to visit the „Oswald von Wolkenstein path“ in Siusi allo Sciliar.
The 15 stations along the path not only provide information about the minstrel himself, but also
about the oeriod, which was dominated by myths and fables. The hierarchical structure of society in those days, life at court and medieval figures, such as knights and damsels, are described along the Stopps of the path, as well as the strict rules of the table manners. We also find the portrayal of surreal characters, such as the little dragon Dlawso (the mascot), who guards a mysterious treasure of gold and silver, to this day never discovered. Whit a little luck you can even see a unicorn…!
The visitors can enjoy a journy through the Middle Ages, a period that even today leaves a lot of room fort he imagination. The path offers a very interesting amusement for families and school paries that want to broaden their historical horizon.
